About the event

Have you ever gone behind Arguineguín or Puerto Rico, behind Motor Grande up to the mountains and wondered "What are all these caves I see? Did people actually live there? How? What was life like in these caves? How did people ancients Canarians manage a cave household? What amazing histories and stories do these caves of the 'fortunate' and 'grand' island of gran Canaria contain?

Well why don't you find out and join me then on a Aboriginal Caves Tour, in the valley/mountains/barranco of Arguineguín/Puerto Rico/Motor Grande?

My name is PJ Bourke Trapp and I have been wandering up and down these mountains all my life, researching it's fascinating history, the magical stories, the resilient flora and everlasting fauna.

This Thursday 1st of July in the valley/mountains/barranco of Puerto Rico, from 8:30-16:30, I will guide you through this amazing odyssey.

The whole day will only cost you 20€ per person.

“Be not afeard; the isle is full of noises,
Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears; and sometime voices,
That, if I then had waked after long sleep,
Will make me sleep again: and then, in dreaming,
The clouds methought would open, and show riches
Ready to drop upon me; that, when I waked,
I cried to dream again.”
― William Shakespeare, The Tempest
